Stand Firm

For teenagers interested in exploring how to stand firm in an age of relativism and skepticism. In a culture where right from wrong has been blurred, students will learn to navigate from the Scriptures on hot button issues and how to reason for the hope found in Jesus Christ alone.

Breakout Speaker Information


Brett Kunkle is the founder and President of Maven, which exists to help students know the truth and find transformation in the renewal of their minds, as well as to equip those who teach and train young people. He has served as a pastor to students and young adults, formerly served as the Student Impact Director at Stand to Reason, and recently co-authored a book entitled A Practical Guide to Culture.


Travis Dickinson is associate professor of philosophy and Christian apologetics fueled by a desire to challenge students to think hard and to do so with care, believing that pursuing truth and thinking well can be an act of worship as we love God with our minds. He enjoys racquetball and exploring the good life with his wife and four kids.


Greg Stier is founder and CEO of Dare 2 Share Ministries in Arvada, Colorado. He speaks to and equips student pastors and teenagers all across the country to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has written a number of books, including his latest work, Gospelize Your Youth Ministry. Before beginning Dare 2 Share Ministries, Greg was the senior pastor of a church in Arvada, Colorado.

Evan Lenow serves as Assistant Professor of Ethics, the Bobby L. and Janis Eklund Chair of Stewardship, Director of the Land Center for Cultural Engagement, and Director of the Center for Biblical Stewardship at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. He is married to Melanie and they have four children, Molly, Elizabeth, William, and Laurel.
